About the Coalition
The Greater Bay Area Arts Coalition (GBAC) is a regional network of artists, culture bearers, creative workers, organizers, and leaders working across public, private, nonprofit, and philanthropic sectors.

Centering the voices of under-represented arts and culture leaders
Shaping strategic arts, cultural, and community development advocacy agendas
Building bridges between grassroots movements and policymakers
Shaping concrete recommendations that can inform policy implementation.
Ensuring artists and cultural workers have a voice in decision-making spaces
